Frey Elementary will be collecting inkjet cartridges this year. Ink cartridges placed in sealed Ziploc bags may be turned in to your child’s teacher or placed in the collection bin at the bus port.  Please be sure to write your child’s grade and teacher’s name on the Ziploc bag so credit will be given to his/her classroom.

Bring them to Frey for RECYCLING!


Bin are located in the bus port area near the school bus maintenance facility.  Students are encouraged to recycle their papers in the classroom.

Donated phones can be dropped off at the bus port of Frey Elementary School. The phones are sent to be reconditioned and resold to wholesale companies in over 40 countries in the world. The proceeds are then used to buy prepaid calling cards for our soldiers serving in the Middle East. The goal is to provide every US soldier with a way to call home for free. “Swerve into recycling” program    With the cooperation of Interstate Battery, Frey will start collecting used household batteries. Just place your used batteries in the traffic cone at the bus port throughout this school year. Our goal is to recycle 1000 lbs of used batteries this year.
